A lower rent matters. So does the chance to own a home and build wealth. We want both. A small home should not come with a need to buy a huge lot. Buyers must know if they own land, a unit or only the home itself.

CMHC offers loan insurance paths for some factory-built homes, both fixed and movable.
Limits: Each path has terms to meet. This is not a promise of a loan. A loan secured on a movable home does not mean the buyer owns the land.
