Your choice to get emails
A free account lets you back causes and follow dates. An email code checks that the address is yours. An account alone does not sign you up for news.
The weekly roundup and deadline reminders are separate choices. Your support is not a petition signature. You can remove it. We show totals, not your name or email.
PM keeps your email, language, choices and proof of consent. A secure cookie keeps you signed in. We keep opt-out records so we can respect them.
Visits and shared services
Paradise Modern uses page visits, device and browser details, IP addresses and visitor IDs for site stats and spam checks. It uses cookies or browser storage. An IP address is a number used to reach your device online.
When you give your email, PM can link it to an existing identity across its network and our contact record. Your choice to get Wake Up emails applies only to Wake Up.
Service providers use data to run these tools. They may process it outside Canada. We do not sell the email list. Your signup does not give another campaign permission to email you.
Ask about your data
Reply to a Wake Up email to ask to see, fix or delete your contact data. We may need to keep a small record of your consent or opt-out. That helps us respect your choice and meet recordkeeping duties.
