Our lead campaign

Tariffs are stupid. End them.

Your money. Your choice. We pay more for the same thing while firms are shielded from rivals. End tariffs and quotas. Canada should lead the world in free trade.

Progress worth sharing

Wins worth sharing.

Good changes deserve credit. See what changed, what is still in the way, and what to do next.

These first two changes came before this site launched. Credit belongs to those who brought them about. We track progress whoever helped make it happen.

Changed on

The extra 100% tax on Chinese EVs is gone.

Canada repealed the extra 100% import tax on Chinese electric vehicles on March 1, 2026. That is a step toward more choice.

What is still in the way
A 6.1% tariff still applies to eligible imports. A quota caps how many can enter. A quota is a limit on imports. The rules also require permits.
The next step
End the tariff and quota. Let buyers choose safe cars from every country. Keep rules for safety, recalls and data.

This is a tax repeal, not proof of a lower car price. We do not yet have a measured total for buyer savings.

Let Chinese electric cars compete

Changed on

Extra taxes on Chinese solar panels ended.

On September 17, 2026, the trade tribunal ended an order that imposed extra import taxes on certain solar panels from China.

What is still in the way
This ended one tax order. It does not remove every rule or cost for a solar project.
The next step
Keep safe solar goods open to trade. Check the full bill, from the panel to the work needed to put it in place.

The repeal is verified. Its effect on prices paid by buyers has not yet been measured here.

End tariffs. Let us choose.
